Crystals have been used around the world for eons, with thousands of years of the Earth’s history hidden within them. They aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but many people take a lot of comfort from them, in many different ways. Here, at PositIVFity we have hand selected a few different crystals that we think you might like and we hope you find this information helpful. People choose to use crystals in many different ways. If you are new to using crystals or are not sure where to start here are some ideas you might find useful.
1. Hold a crystal during meditation
One of the simplest ways to connect with crystals is through meditation. Start by holding your crystal in one or both hands as you close your eyes and focus on your breathing. If you are familiar with meditation incorporate your crystals into your routine, try different crystals if you find some don’t resonate, be patient. You could also try using them in yoga?
2. Keep a crystal near to you
Carry your crystals with you, in your bag or pocket so you can pull it out whenever you need it. It is thought that the more contact you have with a crystal, the more aware you'll be of its energy. Try placing them near to you at bed time or under your pillow, keeping the good vibes nearby.
3. Decorate your home with crystals
Place crystals around your home, in places where you will always see them and be able to touch them. Place a few in bowls in obvious places, easy to get to and they’ll look fabulous too.
4. Place crystals on your body
Placing crystals on your body can have a profound effect. Do some research if you are working with chakras or try to place crystals on your body as part of your meditation routine. Try resting them on your stomach or around your ovaries, using visualisation methods.
5. Make a sacred space
Create a beautiful space in your home; think tranquil, and peaceful, a calm place for you to reconnect with your intentions and reflect. Try to connect with your senses and keep this space for this purpose.
6. Spa treatment
Take your crystals into the bathroom when you have a soak, create a scene of serenity and even try bringing your crystals into the bath with you and soak them in the water! Indulge in a bit of self-care and enjoy!
